Directions

Rawnsley Park Station is located 430-kilometres north (around 4.5-hours drive) of Adelaide, along sealed roads. Overlooking the southern side of Wilpena Pound, Rawnsley Park Station is ideally situated for exploring South Australia's beautiful Flinders Ranges. It also makes the ideal stop-off for those travelling further north into the Outback. The nearest service town to Rawnsley Park Station is Hawker, located approximately 30-kilometres south. Here you'll find a good general store (with ATM facilities), galleries, several pubs and cafes, a petrol station, visitor information and public conveniences.

From Adelaide CBD – take Main North Road to Gepps Cross, and then Port Wakefield Road toward Port Augusta. Just before Port Augusta, take the turn-off for Quorn. After Quorn, continue north to Hawker. From here, take the Wilpena Road north – Rawnsley Park Station is located approximately 35-kilometres north of Hawker and is signed from the main road.

An alternative route from Gepps Cross via the Clare Valley through Clare, Jamestown, Orroroo, Hawker is approximately 30km shorter, but similar traveling time.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy:

•        All cancellations outside 14 days prior to arrival an administration fee of $50 on accommodation

           will apply and the balance of the deposit will be refunded.

•        If cancelled within 2-14 days of arrival one nights tariff will be charged.

•        If cancelled less than 48 hours before arrival the total amount will be charged.

No Refunds can or will be given in connection with circumstances arising beyond the reasonable control of Rawnsley Park Station i.e: flight delays by airlines/contracted charter companies/illness or client failure to appear for accommodation.  No refund can be given for any unused services or early departures.  We strongly urge comprehensive travel insurance to cover clients for cancellations due to medical emergencies additional expenses etc. Any damage and extras we reserve the right to charge your credit card.
