At Lazy Acre Log Cabins our basic self-contained cabins have everything you need to create your ‘home away from home’ feeling. We have nine self-contained cabins. All are built in the same rustic log cabin style, which if you ask me gives the perfect place for beach, nature lovers, fishing, and boating enthusiasts with access to parking boats or Jet skis.
Lazy Acre Log Cabins is a Self-Catered accommodation fully equipped with cooktop and oven, full sized fridge, microwave, crockery, cutlery, TV, reverse cycle air- conditioning, ceiling fan in the lounge room, separate toilet and shower, separate laundry with washing machine, sink and clothesline. Linen and bath towels are provided in the cabins though we do ask that you bring your own beach towels.
A small complimentary starter pack is also provided in our cabins with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, dishwashing liquid, soap, tissue, and a spare toilet roll. Once these items are used, they are not replenished. You can purchase extra’s at reception or buy them in bulk at the local supermarket.
Lazy Acre Log Cabins has a “NO CRAB” cooking or storage policy in the cabins or on the property is permitted, should there be any evidence of this on the property then a fee of $500 will be charged to your booking for cleaning.
All our cabins have cooking facilities, but we do not permit odiferous foods to be cooked. This includes crabs and curried meals. These smells permeate into bed linen, curtains, and drapes and in some instances, rooms cannot be occupied for up to a week. Cleaning charges and loss of income will be charged to guests’ credit cards in these instances.

Cancellation Policy
Guest Information & Property Policies. Office Hours: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
Check-In / Check-Out:
Check-in: From 1:00 pm (Arrival outside of the reception opening hours, Mon to Sun 9:30am to 5:30pm, please contact Reception to make arrangements for check–in. Please note: There are late arrival fee charges to guests who arrive after our office hours).
Check-out: By 9:30 am on the day of departure
Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability within 24 hours of arrival or departure and may incur additional charges.
A fee will apply for early arrivals or late departures without prior arrangement.
Property Rules:
No Crab Cooking or Storage: Strictly no crab cooking or storage permitted anywhere on the property.
Evidence of crabs or crab nets in the cabin will result in a $500 cleaning fee.
Electric Vehicles: We do not provide electric car charging facilities. Guests who disregard this policy may have their booking refused and be asked to leave.
No Pets: Pets are not permitted on or around the property at any time.
No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside cabins. Ashtrays are provided on verandahs for outdoor use.
Parking: Parking is available next to each cabin. Boat parking is subject to availability.
Extra Person Policy:
Cabins are charged based on the number of beds used.
Additional guests will incur extra charges per person, per night.
Guests found to have extra occupants without prior approval will be charged accordingly, including additional bedding fees.

Cabins are not serviced daily.
We do not provide in-house cleaning or laundry services. All cabins include a washing machine and outdoor clothesline for guest use.
