Vivonne Bay Campground

Details

The Vivonne Bay campground is one of the island’s more popular campgrounds and offers the best of Kangaroo Island’s outdoor experiences and wildlife encounters. The campground is located along the Harriet River and is popular for kayaking and fishing, and only a short walk from one of Kangaroo Island’s most picturesque bays. Vivonne Bay is a long and picturesque beach with a jetty and is popular for fishing, surfing and has sheltered swimming areas. The campground itself provides picnic shelters, bins, BBQ facilities, a small playground, and bathrooms with (paid) hot showers. A general store with basic supplies and meals is located a few minutes by unsealed road along the main road from the campground and the campground is 30 minutes from the entrance to Flinders Chase National Park.

Please note internet connectivity in this area is poor, so booking in advance is strongly advised.
