Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park

Welcome to our tropical paradise! We want every guest to have a safe, enjoyable, and relaxing experience. By making a booking or entering the park, you agree to the following policies and rules.

Check-in & Late Arrival Policy
At Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park, we encourage all guests to check in between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. This allows you plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the park’s facilities before evening.
We also understand that holidays can be busy, and travel plans don’t always run to schedule. If you are unable to arrive by 5:00 pm, please see our arrangements below:

Cabins
•Late check-in can be arranged up until 10:00 pm.
•For your convenience, we can prepare your key and place it in a secure lockbox at the cabin entrance. The code will be provided once arrangements are confirmed.
•These arrangements must be organised during reception hours.

Camping (Caravan, Campervan, Tent Sites)
•Parking and setting up camp in the dark can be difficult and disruptive to other guests.
•For this reason, we allow late check-in only up until 7:00 pm.
•Late arrivals must also be arranged with reception during office hours.
•Please note: arrivals after 7:00 pm may be considered a no-show at management’s discretion.

We kindly ask all guests to plan their journey with these times in mind. If you expect to arrive later than 5:00 pm, please contact us as early as possible so we can assist.

Booking Policy
•Deposits: A deposit equivalent to one (1) night’s stay is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Bookings are not considered secure until a deposit is received. (All prices are in AUD and include GST unless otherwise stated.)
•Payment: The balance of your accommodation is due on arrival (or as otherwise specified). Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card or cash. We do not accept personal cheques and AMEX cards.
•Tariffs: Rates quoted at booking are locked in for that booking and will not change. However, tariffs are subject to change for new bookings at management’s discretion.

Cancellation and Change Policy
•Cancellations (7+ days notice): If you cancel 7 or more days before your scheduled arrival, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
•Cancellations (Less than 7 days): If you cancel less than 7 days before arrival, the deposit (equivalent to one night’s stay) is non-refundable.
•No-Shows/Early Departure: No refunds are available for no-shows, early departures, or unused nights once checked in. Extenuating circumstances may be considered at management’s discretion; however, refunds are not guaranteed.
Booking Changes
•One (1) date change for your booking is allowed free of charge, provided the new stay is within 12 months of the original booking.
•Each additional date change may incur a $20 administration fee.
•All changes are subject to availability and may incur any difference in tariff for the new dates. The revised booking will be charged at the applicable current rate.

Refund Policy
•No refunds are provided for early departures or unused nights after check-in.
•Refunds for extenuating circumstances may be considered at management’s discretion.
•Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Privacy Policy
•We collect personal information solely for the purpose of managing your booking and stay.
•Your details will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
•You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time in accordance with privacy regulations.

Liability and Disclaimer
•Risk & Property: All persons enter the park and use the facilities at their own risk. The park accepts no liability for the theft of, or damage to, guests’ possessions (including vehicles) during your stay. Please secure your belongings; management is not responsible for loss or theft of any personal property.
•Personal Injury: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park and its management will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, or accidents that may occur to any guest or visitor while on the premises, except where such liability is required by law or proven to be due to our negligence. Use of all park facilities (including the pool and gym) is at your own risk.
•Guest Responsibility: You are responsible for the safety and behaviour of all persons in your booking party, including children, dependents, pets, and visitors. Guests must supervise their children and pets at all times and ensure they follow all rules. You (the registered guest) will be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by your actions or by those of your children, pets, or visitors.
•Links to other sites: We provide links to certain external websites for your convenience. Please note that we are not responsible for their content, endorsements, or political views, and we disclaim any legal liability in relation to any website linked to or from our site.
