LOCATED on the banks of Lake Sambell, and only minutes from the Beechworth town centre, Lake Sambell Caravan Park is perfectly placed to base yourself for the weekend, a week or even longer.
Offering 18 fully self-contained ensuite cabins, all of which maximise views of the lake and park grounds as well as powered and unpowered campsites, Lake Sambell provides accommodation to suit every budget.
For those who prefer to camp out among the trees or sit beside a campfire and toast marshmallows, you can do just that when you book one of the powered or unpowered sites.
Pets are welcome all year round and we offer eight designated pet-friendly cabins.
The park boasts a very clean amenities block with laundry, clothes dryer and baby bath, undercover BBQ areas, playground, mini golf, volleyball court and a well-stocked kiosk.
We are perfectly located for bike riders to access the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, the Mountain Bike Park or to ride the Epic Bike Trail.
Lake Sambell itself has a sandy beach area with a playground and BBQ areas and you can enjoy swimming or fishing in the lake or hire a canoe or kayak from the caravan park.

Directions
From Melbourne turn right at the Post Office into Camp Street, then turn left into High Street. Follow High Street until you see the Beechworth Primary School on your left at this intersection turn right into Peach Drive. Follow the road around to the Lake Sambell Caravan Park.
From Albury follow Sydney Road to the sweeping bend near the Beechworth Primary School. Turn (more like vear) left into Junction Road and cross the next intersection into Peach Drive. Follow Peach Drive until you reach Lake Sambell Caravan Park.

There will be no refund after arrival if your stay is cut short for any reason and the room/site is left vacant.

Less than 7 days prior to arrival: No refund.
More than 7 days prior to arrival: refund of amount paid less $50 cancellation fee.
No changes/amendments less than 7 days prior to arrival.
High Season:
High season includes Christmas/January, Labour Day, Easter, ANZAC Day, King’s Birthday, AFL Grand Final, Melbourne Cup and local special events:

More than 45 days prior to arrival: refund of amount paid less $50 cancellation fee.
