Directions
From South:
Follow the main road through town and turn left at the Australian Hotel. We are located approximately one kilometre on the right hand side of the road on the corner of Fox and Cherry Streets - access via Fox St.
From North:
Follow Tamarind Dr until it becomes Bangalow Rd and then Cherry St. At the roundabout near the hospital the motel is located on the lefthand side on the corner of Fox and Cherry Streets - access via Fox St.
Cancellation Policy
Check-in and Check-out: Check-in time is from 2:00 PM. Check-out time is by 10:00 AM. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Payment: Room payment in full is to be made prior to or upon arrival and any extra charges or incidentals to be paid before departure. We accept major credit cards (Amex, Visa, MasterCard) and cash payments. A valid credit card is required when making a reservation and upon check-in for incidentals and any additional charges. If credit card details cannot be provided, a cash deposit will be required upon check-in.
Guest Identification: All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID upon check-in for registration purposes.
Minimum Age: The minimum age for check-in is 18 years old. Persons under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms. Guests who smoke in their rooms will be charged a cleaning fee of $500 without notice. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor locations.
Damage Policy: Damage or theft caused by any guest to the Ballina Homestead’s property will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
Pets: No pets allowed with the exception of designated pet friendly rooms.
Cooking: No cooking allowed in motel rooms.
Respect & Quiet: Please show respect to other guests and the Ballina Homestead staff. No noise after 9pm and no parties allowed.
Lost and Found: The motel is not responsible for any lost or forgotten items. Please double-check your room before departure.
Parking: Complimentary parking is available for guests during their stay. However, the motel is not responsible for any damage or theft to vehicles parked on the premises.
